Dr. Niklas Pie­per has exten­si­ve exper­ti­se in busi­ness law, with a par­ti­cu­lar focus on advi­sing the che­mi­cal and agri­cul­tu­ral indus­tries as well as on sus­taina­bi­li­ty and ESG matters.

With more than 25 years of expe­ri­ence in legal advi­so­ry – inclu­ding posi­ti­ons at Fresh­fields and as in-house coun­sel at Bay­er AG – Dr. Pie­per com­bi­nes deep legal know­ledge with stra­te­gic insight. At Bay­er, he most recent­ly ser­ved as Vice Pre­si­dent, glo­bal­ly respon­si­ble for legal coun­sel in the are­as of Regu­la­to­ry (Crop Pro­tec­tion), Public Affairs, and ESG.

Dra­wing on his long-stan­ding expe­ri­ence as an in-house advi­sor, he deve­lo­ps prac­ti­cal, stra­te­gic solu­ti­ons that balan­ce legal and eco­no­mic requi­re­ments while mee­ting the indi­vi­du­al needs of his clients.
